Florida has many different attractions aside from amusement parks.

All of our rentals in Florida are in close proximity to the beautiful beaches which outline most of the state. Below is a brief description of some of Florida's Beaches.

The beaches in Florida are varied. Florida is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. In the Northwest the water is the colour of Emeralds and the sand is soft and sugar white. Known as the Panhandle, summers here are hot here though winters can be cool. The Panhandle starts in the west at Perdido Key and Pensacola Beach and travels along the Gulf of Mexico through Navarre Beach, Ft Walton Beach, Destin, The Beaches of South Walton, Panama City Beach, Cape San Bias - named the #1 Beach in America and St George Island. Along here you will find luxury vacation rentals in Destin and Ft. Walton Beach and also little, rustic beach side cottages.

The North Central Florida coastline is named "Big Bend" and is characterized by marsh, with a few secluded beach areas offering Vacation Rentals. This is the place to really get away from it all. Spots here include Lighthouse Point, Alligator Point, Shell Point, and Keaton Bend.

Further south, a few pristine beaches, accessible only by boat, are found within the Cedar Keys National Refuge.

Into the Northeast, St. Augustine's Anastasia Island typifies the splashy surf and wide, firm beaches of the upper Atlantic, loved by sailboarders and surfers. Around Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach, rolling dunes define the sometimes wild, sometimes family-friendly shoreline. Flagler Beach is a lovely, quiet, family beach spot.

Once you reach the Central East coast, you'll find a surfers on every wave around Sebastian Inlet and cocoa Beach. To the north, Canaveral National Seashore protects pristine beachfront for miles. Seclusion lovers and sea turtles are the greatest fans of these dune-covered sand. New Smyrna beach is quaint and old fashioned, while the hard-packed sands of famous Daytona Beach welcome you and your car.

Florida's string of Gulf coast barrier islands begins in Central West Florida, an area known for it's happy-go-lucky attitude, wide and fluffy sands, water sports, and calm waters. Clearwater Beach and St. Pete Beach draw a youthful crowd looking for lively beachside amusements. Visitors seeking relaxation and tranquility go to Dunedin's state-protected Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island for a scenic visit with nature.
